Shannon Peters is our May Nanny of the Month! Shannon has been working with Annie’s Nannies for a little over nine years and is one of our most beloved On-Call nannies. Many families comment on her kindness and warmth, as well as the feeling of ease they feel whenever Shannon watches their children. One family commented the first time they had Shannon, “She was great. She was calm, let us know when she had questions, and managed our kids’ varied needs beautifully.”
When asked to recall a funny encounter with a child, Shannon remembered the following conversation with a young girl:
Girl: “When are you coming to play again?”
Shannon: “Maybe the next time your parents go out to dinner.”
Girl: “Ok, I will tell them to go to dinner tomorrow.”
We don’t know what we’d do without you, Shannon!
Congratulations to Kristine Bragg, Annie’s Nannies April Nanny of the Month! Kristine joined Annie’s Nannies temp team in February. Kristine Bragg is a nanny with varied experience and has a history of teaching and working with kids of all ages. She earned her BS in Sport Science at WWU. She enjoys the outdoors, hiking and photography. More recently Kristine spent a year in Argentina teaching English.
Recently Kristine had this funny interaction with a 6 year old girl: “This doll is Princess Aurora and this one is Prince Phillip. It’s time for them to get married, but I can’t watch them kissing so you can do the ceremony while I close my eyes!”
Congrats to Kristine and thanks for all you do!!
Our 2013 Nanny of the Year is Amity May! Amity has been a nanny with ANI since 2009 and was our February 2013 Nanny of the Month. She continues to be one of our most popular On-Call nannies (even our own Placement Director Teah requests Amity for her daughter).
When families are emailed a confirmation that Amity will be their nanny, it isn’t uncommon to hear responses like “Awesome, she’s great!” or “That is terrific news!” We at Annie’s Nannies love Amity for her dependability and good humor. We know we can count on her for On-Call jobs, hotel jobs, and events with children of all ages (and personalities)! It’s a privilege to work with a nanny who consistently displays her dedication to childcare in unique and creative ways. We adore you Amity May!
