With or without little ones, the Arts and Nature Festival in West Seattle is a great kid-friendly, free activity! Just as it sounds – the festival merges art and music performances with nature activities in a forested, rustic atmosphere.
Activities/Performances include:
- Puppetry
- Performance Art
- a “Museum of Sound”
- Dance Troupes
- Fire Dancers
- EcoRhythm Instrument Building
- EcoMask Making
The festival is Saturday, 8/21 from 11am-9pm and Sunday, 8/22 from 11am-6pm at Camp Long (5200 35th Ave. SW at SW Dawson St.) in West Seattle. More details can be found at the Nature Consortium‘s website, as they will be producing this year’s event!
